Wave Shelves (2011)

Wave shelves are an experiment with statics and the possible. It is a new modular shelf system that adds an artistic element to your library. The idea is to let the user become the designer. You can join them almost any way you like and bend in any angle from approx. 10-90 degrees. It is the angles that makes the structure work statically and become very strong with no need for support from underneath (or above). The individual shelves are all different in length since the aim was 0 waste material in the production. Materials: ash tree, steel.
